Corsa sport install problem need help

So I'm installing corsa sport axle back exhaust on my 2010 manual c6. Everything went smooth until I tried to tighten factory h-pipe clamp onto corsa axle pipe. Cant get stock clamp to tighten onto corsa axle pipe. Clamp is bottomed out on spacer and corsa axle pipe still isn't tight. Any advice?

I feel like if I try to tighten more it will break the bolt

Yeah, the clamp looks to be as tight as it will go. Only thing I can think of is try flipping the middle "sandwich" on the clamp. It looks off.

I had the same issue when I swapped my exhaust out, flip the hourglass spacer and it should tighten up.

I tried switching the sandwich spacer.Still loose. I got it to tighten down by pulling Corsa over axle pipe out so it wasnt bottomed out inside stock h pipe. I took it for a couple drives for 20 minutes each time and a few good pulls. It seems to be holding. Next im going under car with spray bottle and see if its leaking at h pipe clamp. Definitely like the sound, way better in person. Plan on getting headers and better tune next. Anybody know any good tuners in Ventura county or San Fernando valley?

Yes CA sucks for that. There are ways around if your willing to put in the work though.
