I recently picked up a 2013 c6 1lt with some nice add on features. It has the ride control option and has the **** to select between tour / sport. My question is, will the car display which mode it is in, on the DIC or is it normal for it to not? Thanks!
Selector **** only has two settings, being tour, or sport.
To tell the difference in the way car rides since they are not worlds apart, will need to find some railroad tracks to go over, to real feel the difference in the two settings/how the car rides slightly stiffer in sport mode.
Thanks my guy! Appreciate the fast response. Ands it stays in whatever mode it is in or does is it supposed to go back to center?
Side note: How can I close a thread here?
There is no neutral position on the switch, nor does it revert to zero. It's just a simple 2 position ****.
Threads never close. They will become dormant, until someone makes a comment.
The C6 MRC (magnetic ride control) option from the factory is very difficult to tell the difference between tour/sport modes. Do a forum search on "Jim Mero" as he was one of the Corvette engineers that helped develop the function. He has a software update that can be applied through the OBD2 port or perform a MRC controller swap for a huge performance upgrade to the stock settings (2009-2013 models only). Several of the forum members have applied the update and love it, myself included.
I've got the MRC controller swap from Jim Mero coming today or tomorrow. My mechanic says a 2013 Carbon C6 that he works on has it and it is well worth it.
