Fan not working and plug looks mint

Fan not working and plug looks mint
I never seem to hear the fan come on and in traffic I can be up to 220-230ish which seems hot. Checked the upper fan plug and it looks absolutely mint. What's the best process to tackle this?
Later today i am going to start the car and throw the AC on too, see if the fan comes on

You really need to pull the plug apart to validate the 3 connectors are in good shape on both ends of the receptacle. If your A/C system is fully charged and working, the fan should automatically come on with the A/C engaged.

Although the plug internals are the usual problem, I've had one occasion where the fault was farther down toward the fan module itself. My first fix was a GM replacement connector. I don't suggest that, because the wire gauge is smaller (12 vs 10 IIRC) and it burnt itself up in about a year.
