So I’ve been having high oil pressure because I haven’t changed the oil (it’s returns to normal after it gets hot). I got back from deployment and it’s been on my list but I just keep letting it slip well I’m doing it now and I was wondering if using motor flush to clean it out is a good idea?

Just out of curiosity .. How many miles on the old oil ?
The old oil had around 2k I had 45% left till the next change but I had let it sit in dusty California while I was on deployment (10 months) then came home and never had time to change it. It came out pretty rough:/

High oil pressure when the oil is cold then going to normal when hot is quite normal for these cars. The car sitting for a while won't affect this.
Adding a can of Sea Foam to the oil before an oil change won't hurt anything but its not necessary if you are using a quality oil and doing regular oil changes.
No on the engine oil flush method, since guys that do this, waited way to long, have too much build up, and when the fouling breaks free in large chunks, quick way to clog oil passage, or even the pick up tube with the large chuck.
I wouldn't suggest an oil flush, just an oil and filter change with a high quality synthetic and filter. I always believed using any chemical oil flush product would break loose gunky residue not only in the engine, but trapped in the old oil filter as well. I'm paranoid and wouldn't want to flush with old oil and a dirty filter in place. Guess one could drain the old oil and replace the oil filter with very cheap oil and filter just for the flush process. Then replace the flushed oil and filter with a quality synthetic oil and filter afterwards. Sound crazy and time consuming, but how else can one guarantee a proper flush?
I tore my engine down to the short block at 68k miles to do cam and heads. It looked brand new inside. Not even that typical brown coating old engines have. If you always run synthetic you will not have any buildup in your engine.
