Gas smell
I recently purchased an 07 roadster (my second). This car is identical to my first one except this one is an automatic. We have noticed a gas smell in the car and in the garage. Upon inspection, I find no gas on the garage floor or around the fill spout.
In speaking with the seller, he indicated that he smelled gas but, only if he over filled the tank. My experience has been fuel level of tank makes no difference.
I would like any inputs/advise.

Here is a link to a recent post that includes the TSB for the "fuel order" problem. If yours has this problem, it will be an expensive fix. Not saying that your seller was less than honest with you, but selling would be a good reason to avoid fixing this problem and move on to another or different car.
