People keep adding to the old list but whoever used to take care of it isn’t on here anymore. At least that’s what it looks like.

A couple of his East Coast regulars and close friends died about that time, if you care to look back to those posts.

That’s sad. I wasn’t knocking him in any way. Life changes and we move in to different things. Would just like to see a new list.
It would be cool to pick up the old list and continue it forward
According to Internet Brands, Inc., who owns Corvetteforum among several others, a thread starter owns/controls that thread. He/she can transfer ownership, but without permission of the current owner, it can only be continued. It's no different from anything you post or create.
The only way I understand how it could work without direct permission from Internet Brands, is to start a similar thread and provide a direct link to page 1 of the current thread as a reference to past information. The new thread would need to be maintained by it's starter and could not directly (as in copy/paste) use any of the information from the current thread. The starter could request those people who posted info in the current thread, to post their personal information in the new thread.
Just to be clear, starting any type of thread that relies on consistently updating information supplied by the general public, is a massive undertaking. The C7 performance list was started by a vendor in 2013 and abandoned in 2016. No one attempted to start a new list there either.

I bet! I’d be willing to help if there was a handful of people that wanted to start a new list. One person doing it alone would be more like a work then fun.
