Hey guys, about a week ago my cooling fan harness melted which caused the car to overheat. When the cooling fan harness went out, other messages popped up as well like Service electrical system, service active handling, service traction system, and told me to change my oil. I fixed the cooling fan harness, but those messages still appear except for oil change. I disconnected the battery over night, and about five seconds later the messages came up again and traction control light came on. Now every time I start it, the traction control light is on immediately with those messages. I think the battery is going bad, but I'm not sure. I have full bolt ons and a pcm tune from ECS.

Thanks!

Issue: Bad MAF extension.

Something common, such as you lost a ground wire or have a short.
Any idea where? Do you think it's at the harness I replaced? I tried pulling the codes, got nothing, took it to auto zone for them to pull the codes, and got nothing.
Issue was a bad MAF extension. I replaced it, solved the issue. I don't know why it took me taking it to the dealership to find out the issue and why I couldn't pull the codes myself.
Yepp the cable busted. Got a replacement from Halltech. Plugged it in, turned the car on, off, and back on. Issue was resolved and I was able to use traction control again. Weird thing was, I couldn’t pull the codes myself. The dealership was able to.
Jeeeze ... That Halltech piece costs a bunch more than the one being sold on Amazon ...
$59.99 .vs. $17.98
Figured I’d replace it with the halltech one since it wasn’t too much more expensive and it lasted awhile. Hope whoever got the car after I sold it, enjoys it.
