I am having some grinding sounds, vibration noises coming from the front left wheel area when turning full turns and half turns to the right. Seems worse on colder mornings.I know it sounds like a wheel bearing but is there any other checks to do on it? Thanks
You can raise the wheel off the ground, give it a spin by hand, and probe the area with a mechanic's stethoscope. You will hear a gravely sound if the bearing is bad. It's easier on coil spring cars because the spring amplifies the sound so for those cars put your stethoscope on the spring.

How cold?
At full lock on a frosty morning, some summer tires on the C6 will groan and shudder so bad you'd think the suspension had collapsed.
have any of you had no play or wiggling with the wheels and still needed a wheel hub (bearing) replacement? I read online that it can be possible.
Definitely. I've had a howling wheel bearing that exhibited no play or roughness when turned by hand. But it didn't improve with temperature. Your problem sounds a lot like tire scrub, which isn't uncommon with C6s.

tire scrub; on what? How would something just start scrubbing? It seems like if it was scrubbing something in the tire well something else would of have gave out to cause it to scrub? It’s not road noise from the tires

The C6's wide front tires can scrub (the asphalt) and skip and make noise at full lock in colder weather. This is a not-uncommon complaint with the C6. It comes up more often in winter.
It's difficult to diagnose your car over the internet. Maybe you have some other problem. But the problem as you've described it sounds like that. Good luck.

yeah it’s almost like a grinding, whirling sound, somewhat a vibration when turning. But it’s only on one side, front left wheel. No wiggle or play in the wheel though
