Default Brakenetic rotors

So I Just received my Brakenetic rotors I ordered and I'm completely annoyed and confused because I tried to explain to them I got the drilled holes going all the same way, (no left and right, I'll have the drilled holes going opposite of each other once installed)

and they told me they're non directional but I looked in between the rotors and I see that the vanes are curved, I would assume they are directional then, has anybody purchased Z51 rotors for their C6 in general and received this?

The stock rotors from GM are styled the same as the ones you purchased. If you wanted them directional, they should have a different part number for left & right rotors on both front & back. Not sure if your car has the proper directional rotors mounted currently, but if you do, they are aftermarket.

I purchased my 2013 GS replacement rotors from BrakeMotive and they are true directional rotors.

You might convince them to take them back and then research to purchase the rotors you want. Hope it works out for you...GD

By non-directional they are telling you they only make one side. It won't effect performance on the street, only mildly matters on track cars

I don't know how to refer to the Z51 sized rotors other than Z51 but I ordered e-line rotors prior to these and I received them the same way, I'm going to try to them out any way. Thanks

Non-directionally drilled rotors (OEM J55 rotors) will not properly off gas on the drivers side. You're correct that you'll never know the difference on the street, perhaps on a Solo course a top driver will feel it.

If you plan to track the car you do not want drilled rotors as they will crack. Slotted rotors work well.

If nothing else Non-directionally drilled rotors drive me crazy as every time I look at the drivers side of the car I see the error, but that's just me.

J55 is the correct terminology, but if you call them Z51 rotors everyone knows what you're talking about.

I hope it doesn't drive me nuts either, that both sides won't be facing foward, but they're going on today, and no I won't be on the track, maybe the strip a handful of times other than that I'm good, I'm definitely doing my research next time I purchase rotors.
