Adding Cats?
Did small cam (btr 1 v2) along with headers and off road midpipe. The exhaust smell isn’t a huge deal, but it’s annoying occasionally. Thinking about adding cats. Seeing 200/sq in and 400/sq in. The 200’s were recommended for high performance. Anybody know if the less dense (200) will clean up the smell? Any other suggestions or tips?

I have an A & A S/C with Belanger Custom Tri-Y Headers, and Magna Flow High Flow Cats (53956). Very clean, and passes smog test in Metro Phoenix, Arizona.

Leave at at least 4" from the end of the collector spike, to the start of the cat combs (inside the end pipe where the collectors spike end in the pipe, to the start of the combs in the cats.
This will be enough room/volume to not disturb the Benelli effect of the header collectors.
