Default Supercharger

I have a 2000 coupe I would like to supercharge, 40000 original mikes. Would it be better to supercharge or go with a cam, headers etc. It seems like I would get more hp from the supercharger with less work?

By the looks of your location, your in California.

As you may already know, any changes made to your car's computer (ie: Dyno Tune) will cause you to flunk your states emission inspection.

How do you suppose you are going to get by this law if you install a supercharger on your C6? ... Even installing a cam and headers will require a change to your car's computer program in order to get the max benefit from your mods.

From what im reading he his a c5 2000. IDK and a$a kit passes the test

Ok ... he's posting in the wrong forum then.

Anyway, I don't think the C5 is exempt from the new strict California emission inspection laws.

He will still be screwed if he modifies his computer's tuning ... fact

There is a carb EO number for procharger, sorry wrong forum grumpy boys. Not new to the game.
