AC pulley?
2005 base.
I thought it was a belt, and replaced the serpentine belt. No change. Spraying a stream of water on the belt however silences it. I know there is a lower AC belt I can change too.
However after jacking up the car to look for a power steering leak, I had the engine running with a mechanics stethoscope and it seems to be coming from the AC compressor / pump. Like a bearing or something. I was wondering if I could just replace the pulley, maybe a bearing rather than the whole thing?
I actually have a backup I’ve from a junkyard, so I am going to see if I can find it and remove the pulley.
Anyhow, does this seem right from the sound in this video? Don’t mind the video itself, that is UV due to find my power steering leak
