I have a 2011 C6 GS used as a daily driver with 57k on the meter. for the past year or two, I have an annoying "clunk" or pop in the front end when turning the wheel. My driveway is sloped and I notice it a lot when I back out of the garage. I also notice it if I hit the brakes aggressively. I have had it up on the rack and everything seems tight and steering also seems tight while driving. Anyone have ideas on what to look at? Much appreciated!

I had a clunking in my front end. I checked everything and everything was tight and seemed right. I changed the sway bar end links and it stopped. It started again after a couple of weeks. I changed them again with some made in the U.S. and haven't had another problem.
the most common thing I see is the sway bar drifts to one side an the end can touch the control arm. I think this can be remedied by corner balancing so that the bar and the cross weights of the springs around fighting each other, but a lot of street guys put collars on their bar to keep if from shifting. A quick visual should be able to see if the bar looks centered.
Interesting - sounds like the sway bar is the place to start. I appreciate the insight!
I’d bet $1000 it’s an end link. I had same thing recently, I checked everything real good. Twice I lifted it and checked with pry bar. Had to take it to a shop. Ended up being a an end link nut had backed off and wasn’t torqued to spec. I guess I didn’t pry hard enough while checking them.
