Just dropped a SUM-C2501 Harmonic balancer in my 2005 LS2. Just hung the compressor from my A&A kit and looking at the pulley alignment the balancer looks a country mile off the block and NOT in-line with the rest of the pulleys. Does anyone have a block to face of balancer measurement? I couldn’t find a Summit Tech number or email for their private label products. That would be helpful as well
It sounds to me like the HB isn't installed all the way onto the crankshaft. Did you use a proper HB installation tool and tighten the HB bolt to the recommended torque or did you install the HB by some other means?

Used the ICT LS Harmonic Balancer Installation Tool, ARP Bolt and Confirmed 240 Ft Lbs of Torque.
I noticed on the Summit Product Website that three installation positions are shown (short, middle, and long) and the short position is the correct one for the Corvette. Is your installed in the short position? Information on how to change position is not clear on the website.

😮 The plot thickens. The instructions never mentioned anything about different heights and the ability to vary that height. I have a tech email in with summits tech line. Hopefully they can shed some light.
Upon further review with dimensions supplied from summit racing it appears my eyes deceive me. Now take into account that I’m using a Harbor Freight Special caliper. But it appears to be correct. Getting old sucks.
