I am installing Curb Alert on my new ( to me ) 2010 GS.
The kit I purchased has a straight in line fuse holder meant to go directly to the battery. I would like to use an Add a circuit instead.
Can anyone tell me what amp fuse to use. Is it the same amp as the heated seat fuse?
thanks
What size is the fuse in the holder that came with the kit?
That was the problem. The fuse didn't have an amp rating on it. I finally got a hold of Brandmotive technical and they said 5 amp.
So, I got my answer. Thanks.
The one I bought and installed you install at the fuse panel passengers kick panel on the floor, it was double fuse so you I pulled out fuse, installed it block, and installed block wire into fuse holder I just removed it from, everything works great.
Never herd of it installed to the battery.
If your installing to direct it must be hot all the time, eventually kill the battery?
Good point on the battery drain. Apparently, I got the universal kit that was not modified for the C6. the instructions reference the fuse tap but it is not there.
Auto Zone has the fuse taps so I will use that.
Thanks.

Hello 1bdvet,
I’m searching for a curb alert to install on my 2013 GS, but I want one like you explained in your thread that has the double fuse and installs in the fuse panel on kick panel on the floor. Would you please tell me where you bought yours from and what brand is it? Thank you
