I purchased this c6 zo6 earlier last month , he told me I shouldn't worry about a valve drop as he has dealt with that issue. After some more questioning he addressed valves have been done? Or something like that But i'm on stock heads no porting or polishing . Am i a ticking time bomb , should am I worry free for the most part ? I also have a post about shooting smokes at 6500 rpm deaccelerations

You need to know what exactly he did. Did he have his factory heads fixed?.Who did the work? Receipts? The ONLY way I'd have a C6 Z06 is if there was solid documentation that the heads were fixed or know that I had enough cash set aside for a proper head replacement.

He has not documented way of showing what happened to the heads, he's shown me recipets for all the other work , but all he says is stock heads , fixed valves

Since a dropped valve can destroy a 15k engine in seconds, plan on replacing the heads. Just my 2 cents. There are videos showing how to check the valves but if replacing them isn't in the budget find a GOOD mechanic that knows what they are looking at to check the heads.
