My 2006 C6 is not my daily driver it sits in my garage and drive it two or three times a week. I noticed the other day I had a small puddle of coolant on the garage floor. I checked it wasn't coming from the radiator it was all dry! I checked gear shifter dry.
The leak is coming from the area were the front of the passenger door is. Everything is dry except the small puddle under the car in this area! Do you think that the heater core is the culprit? After checking everything that's my strong guess!
Am I missing something? Any other Ideas?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT IN ADVANCE

It may very well be leaking into the condensation drain and leaking out, or leaking at the hose connection on that side of the engine bay going to the heater core. Are you able to touch and smell/taste the tip of the condensate drain?
How about just turning your AC off and drive the car for a bit…if you pull into your garage and no puddle it’s your normal AC condensate drain doing its job…I’d be worried if your AC was running and there was no puddle !!
Thanks for the AC condensation Idea, But no it's not water! For sure it is coolant!
For sure it's coolant! I checked everywhere that I know of? The puddle of coolant looks like it's coming from under the passenger side door 3 or 4 inches from the front door hinge.
Took out for a long cruse couple of hours. Water temp is 174-182 degrees outside temp was 77 degrees. While its running I don't see anywhere it's leaking when I leave and when I get back. I don't see it till the morning!
I also checked, and I can't see or feel anything wet or coolant oily? anywhere, weird! But I'll keep looking. Leaking about the size of a glass a water. So before i take it out I just top it off. If I can't find it, I'll take it to a specialty radiator shop.
Thanks again.

A glass of water per night is a lot. It should be fairly easy to trace this. Here is what I would try: When the first drop or two appear on the floor, place a plumb bob over it and follow the string upwards to see where the leak is coming from. The leak may be migrating along the frame or something else, but at least that will give you a starting point.
I found the cause of the leak! Couple of weeks ago I had my new Dewitt fan just quit. so, I had it replaced under warranty. The upper inlet hose were it connects to the overflow reservoir had not been pulled back enough had slightly been rubbing on the alternator pully and wore 2 small creases on the hose and began to leak under the pressure of the warm engine when it shut off. Simple fix thank God. I'll fix it tomorrow myself.

The alternator is on the driver's side. How do you explain the leak being located near the door hinge on the passenger side?
