Drive cycle reset for E Check

Finally got the car home and went to get an E Check and it came up as "Not Ready"
The technician said I need a Drive Cycle Reset.
Can anyone tell me how to do this ( New to C6's) Do I need a diagnostic tool?

There are a few IM Monitors such as O2 sensor, O2 sensor heater, EVAP, and Catalyst…you do a drive cycle to get these monitors to show complete so you can pass Emissions…EVAP is hardest to show complete and important thing is to make sure your tank is 1/4 to 3/4 full…this drive cycle is from Alldata…if you take the car to Autozone they might be able tell you if your monitors are complete with their scan tool.

Being new to modern cars ( just sold my C2) What is a HP Tuner.

C5 Drag, Thank you for the info. I followed the instructions you sent and they worked like a charm. A little stressful driving a 15 mph though.

Great !!…you just have to find an area where you can do the drive cycle…just remember any time you disconnect your battery all the monitors will show not ready…a cheap code will show you the status of those monitors…it’s good to own one anyway and a scan tool if you have a little more money is better.
