So I’m sure i can find my answer in the stickies however i’d like for someone to reply to me if possible. I am new to these forums and this is my first vette. Basically i purchased a 2007 corvette coupe and for whatever reason the key hatch cylinder assembly is completely missing so the fob is buttons are useless. It only reads it to start the car and accessory when inserted in the glove box.
i believe the part # is 23383760 but it was discontinued, however i did find the replacement part on the Gmgiantparts website that substitutes for this. If i installed this part with the key provided, would i be able to reprogram the fob normally? Or should i just go to a dealership. I’m just wondering my options and what the best scenario is. I appreciate any help In advance.
