Default NPP for my 07 base

Hey all,

I have a base 07 and am looking at an NPP from a 13 GS car. It includes the mid pipe--is there any difference between the 07 and 13 GS mid pipes?

Thanks!

You would have to modify passenger side pipe, OR find a 2009-2013 midpipe then it would bolt up

You can also find an NPP from a 2008 and it will bolt right on. Specifically that year.

He said the NPP he's looking at from a 2013 includes the midpipe so he should be all set with that yeah?

yes, there is. You won’t be able to use the mid pipe from the 2013 unless you modify it. The mid pipes from 05-08 are different from 09-13.
either look for an x pipe off an 05-08 car or have an exhaust shop modify that x pipe from the 13 gs

The simple, guaranteed to work solution, is to cut only the muffler off your current pipe and weld the NPP muffler in it's place. Anyway you do it will still require some aftermarket method to operate the valves.

All wrong. The mid pipe will bolt up as will the axle back. You might need to replace the donut gaskets that go between midpipe and exhaust manifolds.

All wrong? What is wrong about that info? The mid pipes from 05-08 and 09-13 are not the same….
and when I say mid pipe I am referring to the X pipes

Edit: I apologize I just went back and read the op’s question and I had it in my head that he was trying to use a 2013 axle back with an 07 X pipe
If you transfer the x pipe and axle back from the 2013 to your car it will work fine.

Not to be picky, but IIRC, '05-'07 all used an H-pipe and the Z06 didn't change until '11.
