ported heads

does anyone know a good place that is reassembly priced for porting my stock ls3 heads. i live in LA but am willing to ship out the heads anywhere as long as they are cheap and do good work.

Ported heads are going to flow better, which means that the engine is going to run leaner, and the catch to the problem for anyone in CA, since you will need to have the car tuned in the end.

cheap and good work don't usually go together, HOWEVER. give Gwatney Performance Innovation (GPI) a call, they will port your stock heads for you. The package is also seen on their website.

I've been running these for 4+ years now. Very happy with them. You can spend a whole bunch more money for sure. I didn't hurt that their shop is within easy driving distance for me. I'm sure I'll use them again.

im planning on swaping a cam in it and headers so it wont be cali legal the only issue really is 91 octane fuel but oh well so its getting a tune anyway
