I recently bought a auto c6 corvette and being super excited I wanted to rev it since it’s straight piped so I put the vette in neutral while going at a very slow speed maybe 5 mph or slower honestly and then I threw it in drive when the rpm’s got low and put the car in drive it didn’t want to respond to me giving it gas to go I’m guessing I didn’t let the rpm’s get low enough so it didn’t allow me to drive is this normal or did I mess up ? I drove home no problem I even ripped it a couple of times to see if I felt a difference but I didn’t I’m just concerned since it was very weird not sure if I messed up something internally
There is an abuse mode with a timer and it could have been that.
my corvette is tuned not sure but that had anything to do with what happened I had to put it in neutral and then drive again until it actually responded
Put some mufflers on that C6 you just bought so you don't ****-off all your neighbors.
Loud don't make any more HP than quiet !
when I bought this vette it came with the straight pipe , tune and performance headers so I am currently looking into making it quieter and when I reved it I was in a empty parking a lot to make sure I wasn’t being a a hole to my neighbors
It sounds fine but I wasn't there to really see what happened. I was just looking at the abuse mode setting last night. It's there in the programming for just what you did to prevent damage. I took a picture of the tables.

thanks I feel alot better now about what happened I’m taking it out today for a drive to see if I feel anything different and to see if the check engine light comes on

Assuming that the OP's profile is correct and he has a 2013, none of these screenshots apply to his car. They do however apply to a 2005.
The pix are from my '05 and all the later years got a newer computer with more details in the tuning.
the vette is doing fine as far as I can tell I don’t really feel any difference I been driving all day but I don’t think I’ll be doing that ever again Im scared I’ll ruin my vette I just really wanted to hear it
