Airbag Light B0100

Airbag Light B0100

My airbag light is on, I got it scanned and gave code B0100 which is front driver side impact sensor..

I changed the sensor and upon start up airbag light flashed a couple times turned off then came back on after a few seconds..

I got it scanned again and same code came up again even with new sensor.. any idea what the issue could be or how to fix?

I’d try looking at the wiring…always helps to know what year car you have but this is the troubleshooting tree and wiring and this is for a 2008.

It’s a 2007 Z06, if it was the wiring would it still recognize the changed sensor? Because it turned off then turned back on..

If the airbag light went off and back on it’s telling you something other than impact sensor.

okay thanks for the input, I might just take it to dealer.. I don’t think I can do this diagnosis myself.. I’m not too sure what going on on that chart.

I’d stay FAR away from a dealership or a general repair shop to diagnose this…both will only guess !!…Google to see if there are any diagnostic shops in your area or even an auto electric shop…they are more familiar with electrical diagnostics…taking your car to a dealership or general repair shop is like taking it to a voodoo doctor vs a diagnostic shop who would be more like your Harvard trained Physician…I could not make a more accurate comparison than this.
