My 2007 Z
the low beam won't light up, I have tried 3 bulbs, no light, replaced the ballast on the driver side and no light. The high beams work,
Not sure what's the issue. I even switched out the fuse box, because I did have the heat related issues with a turn signal on the driver side and it was all good for awhile and the low beam stopped working recently... any ideas ?? Cant find anything loose or pinched etc.
thanks guys
I have switched around fuses and relays also

Both low beams ??…how did you exactly check the low beam relay #47 ??…do you have a 12 volt test light ??
I swapped the relay, im going to buy one right now and see if that helps.
Both low beams are inop ??…its a key piece of info…if you have a test light it is easy to check the relay…just swap with the horn relay and see if that works.
Only 1 low beam on the driver side is the issue, the running light and high beam work, passenger side everything works. It the relay have a special orientation in the fuse box... seems the indented corner of the other relays are towards the front of the car.... thanks guys
If it’s just 1 headlight it’s not the relay….a relay can be installed ANY direction….if the left headlight is the issue did you check fuse 21….with the headlights on make sure a test light illuminates on both test points on top of the fuse with the test light connected to battery negative…this may be a bad ground also…access the headlight wiring and disconnect it…with test light connected to B+ (alternator B+ would work) probe the black wire terminal of the connector…if ground is good the test light will illuminate…also with the headlights ON and test light connected to a good ground see if the test light illuminates when probing the yellow (feed) wire…you have to check if power is getting to the headlight…that is why I asked specific questions.
Ok I have power on both fuse tops when I run a test light to a ground ... it's probably the wiring closer to the bulb ... I have ordered I new wire that goes from the ballest to the light, but won't get it until Sunday ...
Thanks soo much... do you know where the ground is for the drivers side headlight... there's a ground visible under the hood and it is tight etc
Sorry the high beam and low beam use the same ground and you mentioned the high beams work…it’s probably on the power side then…that is the yellow wire downstream of the fuse…I would want to check for power going to the headlight connector…you can also remove the fuse and see if you have continuity with an ohmmeter between the side of the fuse going to the headlight and the headlight connector…may be a broken wire…funny it says G101 is in the top of the left frame rail….I removed the ground wire and both left high and low beams were still functioning…WTH !!!…service info says that is the one….will have to research this.
So I replaced the wire between the ballast and bulb , so I also checked and I have Power and ground at the plug going into the ballast, maybe I got a bad ballast off Amazon ?? So I'm going to send it back and get a different one... I couldn't get the test light to go on when touching the other side of the ballast where the wire to the bulb plugs in. I also cleaned up two grounds I found under the hood on the frame.... I'm sooo tired and frustrated
I have now cleaned 3 ground spots and nothing, but I have a electrician coming over this morning to help me out. I'll let you know what we find. That way it may help someone in the future

Is he an automotive electrician or house wiring electrician ???
