Default Splitter Height ?

I have a stock 2010 GS. It has a factory stock splitter. Every time I back out of my driveway apron onto the street it scrapes slightly on the cocreate. I was wondering if the aftermarket splitters give you a little more ground clearance. I spent $600 to have the concreate slab leveled but still no joy. Also, any recommendations for a replacement splitter would be appreciated.

Two different problems, since the factory air dams are on the bottom pointing down ,and a front splitter would be something that attaches to the bottom of the front bumper isntead.

So on the air dams, middle section is metal, while sides are plastic. As for light scraping the plastic ends, I do it all the time and not the end of the world. The center middle one, and not good to scrap it instead. If the car has been lowered, then maybe raising the car back up to OEM height may solve the problem.

As for front splitter that attaches to the bottom of the front bumper, that is this piece and you don't want to be scrapping it.

Here you can see the air dams, and an extended duck bill front splitter in play,

So on that note, lets start with if the car has been lowered, so park the car on lever ground, and give us the measurement of the tips of fenders at the center of the tires, to the ground for all 4 corners.

Thank you, I will get the information. I do not know if it has been lowered.

You say the middle section of the air Dan is metal, are you sure, I thought it was plastic as well

if indeed it is the splitter dragging and not the air dam going to a zr1 style wont help, likely make it worse... that being said ebay zr1 splitters are cheap enough to give it the ole college try (i went through 3 in the last 2 years)
