Default Cammed valvetrain noise update

As some of you guys know I have been chasing some valvetrain noises after I had my BTR cam installed. I just wanted to follow up now that I have the car back. Took the car to another shop who pulled the motor and sent the heads off for a valve job. The heads got all new valves, valve seats fixed, resurfaced and also got new springs. They thoroughly went through the motor and everything checked out good. Also I was having really high oil pressure but now it’s perfect after changing out the spring in the oil pump and new lifters. The motor isn’t the quietest I’ve ever heard but to me sounds pretty good for a cammed LS. Thanks to everyone who supported me and gave advice along the way. Here’s a list of the parts. Also check out the videos and let me know what you think. Btw the car is filthy I haven’t got a chance to clean her up yet, please overlook. Thanks!

BTR stage 2 cam
Johnson 2110R lifters
PAC 1219 springs
7.425 pushrods
stock rockers with CHE trunnions
Powerbond race balancer
Melling 10296 oil pump

Glad you got it sorted! I'm headed out to exercise mine a little. Suggest you do the same.

Running damned good and sounds awesome.

Hard to tell for sure considering the headers and lope but it sounds like the excessive lifter noise in the front is gone.

Thanks man I appreciate it. There is still that same tick up around cylinder 1 but it’s much quieter. Idk I’ve done everything I can do to fix it but it won’t completely go away so that’s just going to have to be the way it is. It’s a lot quieter tho so I’m happy. The main thing is they thoroughly went through the whole motor and everything is in good shape so whatever that noise is must not be an issue.

warm bucket of water with some dawn and a microfiber rag first to clean everything off then used Meguiars supreme shine and microfiber to detail. I usually use Meguiars natural shine but I was out. The supreme shine actually looks tho
