Default Stupid mirrors

I Have owned my C6 for three years but all of a sudden my outside mirrors point down whenever I open the door and I have to reset both of them every time I start it up. Real stupid problem I know.

I kind of recall..... can be related to a module under the driver's seat.

Reset the memory feature for both fobs. Be sure to have your seat in the correct position so that's saved. Lastly, check your settings on the head unit (ie the radio), you may have to re-select them too.

After reading this it dawned on me the problem started when I began using the second fob, I went back to the first one and the problem is gone, thank you very much. One of these days I'll have to figure out how to set the clock on this car..lol

To set time on clock. I believe you just touch the time on screen. That will take you to clock adjust.

That gets you started. As I recall, "Auto Update" is tied to the Wifi in the car....not your phone....and *I think* OnStar. Wifi in the C6 was 2G and is no longer supported (at least I got a letter to that effect for my prior 2013). Most people don't have OnStar subscriptions. Sooooo....From the clock menu turn auto-update off and then you can manually set the time. You'll have to manually adjust for start/stop of Daylight Savings time if you're in a state that follows that.
