Ok if you want to flame me for asking this question then go ahead. I’ve been chasing a EBCM problem for awhile now. I’ve cleaned every connection and ground in this car. Also have checked the voltages and replaced the battery. I’ve sent the module in for repair twice, the second time was my fault. I noticed today that first start up in the morning everything is fine but if I shut it off and restart it again it gives me U121 and U2108. Let it sit for a couple of hours and it’s fine again. My question is could it be the ignition switch causing this? Also is the switch difficult to replace? Going to check the wiring diagram tonight. Thanks for any thoughts at all.
These are “loss of communication with EBCM”…what voltages and ground were checked ???…for any module “no comm” you want to check that modules POWERS and GROUNDS…there are 2 battery and one ignition feed and a ground…check them first before condemning the module.

Hi C5Diag, I have both constant 12v and the IGN 1 12v at the EBCM connector. I also have both Gnds . I checked them by back probing the connector like you have suggested before. The connector was checked with the ignition on and Abs light lit. With the battery disconnected the Can Bus measure 61.2 ohms.
