As a possible saving of time & money, why are you looking to replace your MRC shocks? If told that they are leaking, they may actually be "weeping" and that condition does not require replacement. The MRC shocks were designed to last the life of the car.
Sooooo...F55 is the option itself (magnetic ride) and in this particular conversation, FE2 and FE3 is the amount of damping. Think of it as stiff or soft.
Given your comment, you may want to read gd Moore's post since you don't appear to be well versed in the magnetic ride option.
I have a 2013 Grand Sport and the options sticker in the glove box has the suspension code listed as "FE3". So that should also be the code contained within yours as the GS included the Z51 suspension option and components.
You should still reconsider your need to replace an MRC shock, unless you have a damaged unit.
@RizVet I may be in this same boat. Just got into a '12 GS 4LT with the F55/FE3 option and I can't really tell if anything is changing. Been hard to find anything on exactly what differences there are other than the stiffness of the ride. I haven't noticed a difference in either setting.

Sounds like a great idea, however, I'm having some difficulty finding this post. Have a link?
What i notice is that in Touring mode the ride is softer and I get more body movement. In sport mode it seems to hug the road. I can feel it immediately.
