Default sensor torque limiter

Hello, does anyone know how to remove the torque limiter without using iTunes or HPtunes?

Is there a bypass?

Lost here, since don't have a clue what a torque limiter sensor is in the first place, much less how one would use I-tune to do anything on a GM car for it firmware changes.

If you mean increase the torque limit values in the ECM tune so TM is not throttling instant power amounts to the rear wheels, then current programs for that would be HP tuner or EFI live that you could do such self, or could look into a can'd tune that would be able to do the same but not end user adjustable.

Oui désolé c est pour modifier la valeur de couple car le moteur coupe vers 5000 tr suite à l installation du A&A V3SI.

Je suis en France et mon préparateur automobile n utilise pas Hp tuner ...

Si votre moteur est en ligne rouge aux limites inférieures du régime, je suppose que la pompe à carburant ne produit pas suffisamment de pression/volume pour suivre les injecteurs plus gros, et c'est pourquoi le réglage a été plafonné au régime. à une limite inférieure. Par conséquent, un taux d'injecteur supérieur à 80 % et permettre au moteur de tourner au-delà de ce point finirait par amener le moteur à pencher pour exploser à la place.



Simplement, la gestion du couple n'a rien à voir avec les limites de régime, il faut donc rechercher pourquoi la limite de la ligne rouge a été abaissée en premier lieu.

Le problème c'est que quand la voiture est branché à l'ordinateur de mon préparateur elle fonctionne parfaitement.
Une fois qu il enlève son ordinateur elle fait ce problèmes..

English cliff note, he is having problem with his super charged motor not rev'ing all the way to red line, but has a lower redline limit at 5K rpms isntead.

My response, torque management has nothing to do with the red line cut off limit of the motor, and was guessing that his fuel pump is not pushing enough pressure volume for the larger injector needed for the super charger increased horsepower, and that his tuner turned down the red line cut off limit when the injectors where hitting about 90% limits, so the motor would not rev higher to go way lean as the fuel system could not longer push the needed higher fuel levels that the motor needs at the higher limits.

His last response, the 5K limit is only when his tuner removes the car from the the laptop, and not when the laptop is still on car.

This is where we are at now, and my next question to be asked, is what software is the tuner using.

Thank you very much for this response. the software is HP tunes. I'm waiting for the tune but my car technician confirms that the AFR is good over the entire engine speed range. I spoke about it with Andy from A&A vortech who suggested this to me (see photo) because it is really a torque limitation problem.

Sounds like you have the solution.found the problem with the tune, but would get a copy of the final tune for save keeping in the end.

Not only will this come in handy if you do need someone else to look at the tune if problems, but if the ECM goes south, has to be replaced, and the original tuner that may have the tune, no longer in businesses when that happens.

Also, make dam sure that the tuner does not lock the tune. With tune locked, Tech2win/SPS will no longer work for the rest of the car since it locks them out, and if such needs to be used to flash in another module to the car, then ECM needs to be sent out to be cleared, oem tune flashed back in to Vin match it, then after market tune needs to be flashed back in unlocked for the motor to run correctly, so the GM software can be used in the end.

I bring this up, since way back, most tuners where locking their tunes in fear that someone would see/use them in some way (maybe on a base motor with no mods), and just caused the problem of locking out the needed GM electronic service tools for the rest of the car. Now adays, if a tuner has to use someone else tune since they are clueless to begin with, you don't want them tuning your car to start with (their record of blown motors from bad tunes will speak volumes, not matter Who tries to hide that information from the public).
