I have a 2005. My tire pressure lifgt has come on after installing rotors and pads. It is indicating LR low, but after checking it has sufficient pressure. I have tried driving it for a few miles, but it remains on. Do you think I may need new sensors?I have youtubed the relearn tool. Do these work with the older model fobs also for programming?
My 2006 did the same thing, I replaced all four as I was putting on new tires anyway. I bought “ITM Set of 4 315mhz TPMS sensors for 2005-2009 Corvette” for 85 bucks from Amazon. I also bought the relearn tool for 9 bucks, “VXDAS TPMS Relearn Tool for GM Vehicles” you provide the 9v battery for it. Push the fob lock/unlock buttons at the same time until the horn honks. Go to the LF wheel, hold the tool near the valve stem, push the button on the tool, you will hear a horn honk. Do the same at RF then RR then finally LR. On the last one you will get 2 horn honks indicating relearn done/successful. Google says the stock GM sensors last 5-10 years so ours have done very well

The life span of batteries in the tire pressure sensors can last 5-10 years. If yours are in that time range, the sensors most likely need to be replaced......and if one is going bad, the others will also fail sometime relatively soon.
And after you install new TPMS sensors and buy that cheap relearn tool that 'Velox' mentioned, here is a link to how to program the new sensors with the relearn tool:
