Default Rotating Assembly- Made in USA

I’m sure this has been discussed a million times, but times change, and I am investing tens of thousands in a new LS7 to include a Dart aluminum block, TFS 6 bolt heads, BTR cam to name a few parts.

I would like a top of the line rotating assembly for the best N/A performance. The motor will see high reving street and road coarse driving. Around 7,500 rpm redline. And, I want something quick reving, light, strong, durable and Made in the USA is a must. No Chinese crap in this +$25k motor!

I have been looking into Oliver rods, Carillo rods, Lunati X beam rods. And I’m confused on which crank options there are. Again, I want the best parts available - no expense spared. And they must be 100% made in the USA.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You might try joining the Facebook group "LS7 Engine Tech" and ask your question there. The administrator there (Semir Metovic) is a professional builder of high end LS7 engines. He will offer some good advice.

Lost here, since the block in play, as well as the heads, are designed for high levels of boost, and your talking a N/A application were a stock block and standard bolt heads are more then enough for the task as hand.

As for higher reving motor, then need to move towards over square set up . But even with this, still at the limitation of what the heads and intake can flow, as well as what you are limited on a push rod motor to as well.

Bluntly, for the money is sounds like your talking for a N/A set up for the street, should have just picked up a SB4 motor isntead.

Fair statement.

I like the idea of the 427 ci displacement, but I have considered a 388 ci. Not too late to do that.

The block is a “bulletproof” option. And it also allows me to pull the stock LS7 out and keep it completely in tact.

My idea is to build a LS7 that will last, rev high, make great reliable power, and I have the option to MAYBE add a supercharger. And that’s a big maybe as I am a track guy with over 10 years experience at tracks like Road Atlanta.

I would just call CNC Motorsport have them build me a short block
they build them with Callie Magnum Crankshaft with a center counter weight ,Lunati pro I beam rods or Dyers H beams 300m rods
je pistons (light weight)for NA and Dart blocks
and just buy your TFS 260x heads from Tony Mamo
