My car has M2W switch installed. I can only tolerate the louder setting for a short time before I switch to quieter. Is there any mod that will give me a more "in between the two" sound eg. headers, different exhaust system etc?
I have LG longtubes with cats into the stock mufflers on my Z06.
I wrapped the header tubes to damp out any resonance from them.
Quiet as stock off the throttle, has a great sound but not too loud wide open.
I'm not a fan of loud cars.
Why call attention your misbehavior?
I used these clamps on mine. You can slide them to hold the valves open as much or as little as you want. I can't remember what they're called, maybe split collar clamps or something. I do remember the ID is 5mm. I got them for a couple bucks on ebay a few years ago. You can get stainless ones, but they cost a lot more
