Minor Electrical Issue
Okay, so this is not really a serious problem, but all of a sudden my little map lights located on the rear view mirror won't turn off, either by the switches or when the car is stopped and the key removed. This happened while I was on a road trip recently and I ended up removing the bulbs, but that is a poor solution. The car is a 2009 base coupe. Any suggestions?

Most likely you accidentally pushed in the Instrument Panel Illumination Control button located just left of the steering wheel. Puch it again and see if that corrects your problem...GD

The **** for this feature is located
on the left side of the instrument
panel.
Push the **** in to turn on the
interior lights.
Turn and hold the **** clockwise to
brighten the lights or
counterclockwise to dim them.
During the day, this **** will adjust
the instrument panel brightness and
at night will adjust all interior
lighting.
