I would like to change the factor rubber bushings on my C6Z. I think I have settle on Delrin, and wanted to know what you guys have had good luck with. Also, which alignment technique do you prefer - a bolt in the LCA to lock it out, and control all camber via the upper control arm (shims), or a better eccentric like the AMT Motorsports than the stock one that can move.
Might get more response in the autocross/road race section but glad to hear you’re using the car as it was really meant to be used!
You can adjust for more camber from the stock eccentrics as well as removing shims. The stock eccentrics can move but you can mark them and just monitor them to see if they move on you.
the amt locking plates are great but you might not need them.
For delrin bushings, I highly recommend van steel. Their stuff is awesome.
if you’re going to swap them yourself, let me know / I did it and the job actually wasn’t that bad with a few tricks and tips. I did a write up over at the grassroots motorsports forum.
