Default Tire sizing for 19/20

cross posting from general posts

Hello all,

Im looking for advice for picking the right tires for my new wheel set up. I am considering 335/30/20 in the rear at stock height. will be running apex vs5-rs 19 front 20 rear.
Has anyone run 335/30/20 in the rear with no rubbing on a widebody c6.

A 335/25-20 fits all day long. Why not use that one?

Make sure you have the room in the fender well for it,
Hence on the Zr1, the larger rims where used since the front rim needed more ID for the larger brake rotor in play, the back rim was upside for the needed speed sensor ratio's to not throw codes, and the tires where dropped down one size both front and back, so the OD's still worked in the wheel wall void areas.

Gotcha so i’ll have to measure out tires. i have the gs so i should be able to fit oem size tires just maybe not the bigger ratio tires

Im running BC Forged RZ21s in the following configuration with no rubbing issues:

Front: 19 x 10 + 28mm offset
295/30R19 Michelin Sport 4AS

Rear: 20 x 12 + 46mm offset
335/30R20 Michelin Sport 4AS

The car is lowered on coilovers, two finger gap all around with no rubbing issues.
2010 Grand Sport.

The 335/30 series in the rear does look better than the 335/25 series which I originally had. I actually had 345/30R20 at first, loved the look but they were rubbing the inner fender covers.

Also, no traction/handling codes came up with the larger tires...even the 345s had no codes.
