Guys, I will be installing a new duel HVAC unit in my 2010 GS soon. I have a couple of questions.
1) What is the procedure for removing the connectors on the back of the unit. Is there a lock clip? How do I release it. Are there instructions available on how to remove the various lock clips on the connectors.
2) Do I have to remove the entire dash console or can I just lift it up and install the new unit.
You will have to remove the dash pad to get at the components. The clips are removed by lifting up the clip above the retaining pin, then separate the connector.
Attached are instructions that may help.

Thanks for the info but I am only replacing the controller mounted under the radio. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

np...maybe someone else can find what I attached useful.
you will need to remove the radio surround console to get at the retainers that hold the AC controller in place. The connectors will be easily removed.
