I'm not familiar with the VCX Nano. If it's a legitimate MDI tool that can interface with ACDelco tech connect .....you should be able to program the BCM as if it was a new one.

The next option would be to find a used 2005 BCM then have the chip in the old one swapped over to the new one. The problem with that scenario is the fact used 2005 BCMs are very expensive to purchase. ($500/up)

AC delco is now making 2005 BCM. Go to rock auto and buy one.

The price is very good. Still need someone to program it.
