Have a 2007 Corvette 3LT which I bought last year with 695 miles. Radio and Navigation on the car worked fine. In June I tried to subscribe to SiriusXM and found XM LOCKED on the radio display. Took it to dealership to get the lock reset. They claim to have only plugged a diagnostic scanner to check for codes. After that the radio is completely dead. Screen is totally black with car running or in accessory mode. They claim to have 12volts to the radio which makes it appear the problem is in the radio. Over the last 6 months they have swapped out 5 different radios. None worked. These radios are used/rebuilt since they are no longer manufactured for a 16 year old car. Dealership claims the engineers in Detroit believe the problem is in the radio.
Has anybody experienced a problem like this? Anybody have any suggestions?
Since they have tried many radios and they don't work, it's not a radio issue. Has to be an electrical or software issue, It could be as simple as one of the radio connector pins bent or broken, etc. I've attached the electrical color schematics for a 2007, (Schematic 64-65-66) + the connector pin outs
I would check the fuse, then the radio connector, including the connectors to the XM box.
There was a GM TSB for models 2007-2009 for the Nav unit going blank and radio functions not working. I'm wondering if they did this TSB? I Attached a copy of the TSB
Good Luck

Thank you for the quick response and the wiring diagrams. The dealership has claimed to perform the TSB but I know that is not true. The CD player is required to execute the TSB and it is dead.

Hopefully you can troubleshoot and find the solution to the issue.
