what part of the country are you in? there's reputable tuners everywhere. if you're in the southern part of the country, i recommend Houston House of Power just based on your auto conversion information.
aside from the conversion, mods are mods. any reputable tuner should be able to take care of you.

Not sure how far you are from Houston but Chuck at Houston House of Power is the GOAT... he's tuned my car remotely for the last several years and is probably one of the best tuners I've ever worked with.

fun to see we’ve used the same guy and had great results. He tuned my boosted GMC and was fantastic. And he works well with autos and auto swaps. Both reasons I also recommended him.

Small world for sure! Yeah Chucks always been great to work with! Cars never ran better and he's never even seen it in person lol.
FIY, but what you have not read on the site when he was a sponsor here that got buried, is the amount of engines that where destroyed from a bad tunes.
My suggestion, find a great tuner that can tune it on a dyno in person, then do a quick test drive on the street, to dial in the tune one and done.
Matt Sorian is also in the Richmond/Rosenberg area on the southwest side of Houston. MS Tuning if you look it up.
Heard great things about him in the past, but also some not great things, but those seemed like shitty business guy problems instead of shitty tuner problems
Either way, Houston has plenty to offer for this...please let us know who you go with and how the experience was. I'm probably looking for a tune soon, and also am in SE Texas

Search FSP or Florida Speed and Power on here. He screwed a bunch of guys. Then google the shops he owned/closed before that.
Thanks for the recommendations guys will definitely reach out to HHP for a remote
I agree 100% with Dano523. I am not a tuner, BUT-I do know that tuning at WOT is similar, in a way, to the old carb tuning days. It is the easiest part of the tune. Getting the car to behave and not buck or surge at part throttle is what separates the men from the boys. Other than a really lucky guess on a mail order tune, it is next to impossible to match a dyno for max power tunes from a remote location. Even if you have an identical engine, with identical internal components, as compared to one the remote tuner has already successfully tuned, no two engines are exactly alike. If your drivability is very good from a remote tune, that's great, and I'd leave that part of the tune file as is. But I'm absolutely certain there's usually a few hp left on the table if a dyno wasn't used, or the tuner wasnt physically present. My tuner charged me (2 years ago) $250 for a WOT only tune, because my drivability was fine. My .02. Oh, by the way, my tuner picked up 40whp on my engine compared to the last "good tuner". FWIW......

I have no complaints on my tune from Chuck, we worked through drivability issues with a few revisions. When you do 100 a week, big shops like him and Fran at RPM can pretty much ballpark where it needs to be for any given combo and make a few adjustments to get it dialed... yeah they may be able to squeeze a few more on the dyno but any tuner worth their weight can do a spot on street tune without even seeing the car. Now if were talking a boosted combo, thats a little different, but basic H/C/I stuff... no issue.
