I went with ARP bolts on mine. The studs would be nice if the exhaust was constantly coming on and off, Other than that I dont really see a benefit. We use Studs on all the race engines at work but the headers are constantly coming on/off the engines
If you pull your exhaust often, get the studs. There's only so many time you can assemble and disassemble something before damaging the threads, especially on aluminum.
If working by yourself install a cut off exhaust bolt (1)to hold up your headers and exhaust gasket
to give you a extra hand while installing your arp header bolts
when you work by yourself you learn to get by

Great tip.
If doing studs, do you lose maneuverability to get the headers in place having studs sticking out of the heads, or is there still plenty of room to move the headers into place?
