Built 6l80 vs built 4l60
This might be a dumb question but from my research I’m getting mixed information. Looking into a built auto and debating between a 6l80 vs 4l60 car. Built for built what is more reliable?

even the toughest built 4l60 in the world wont be as tough as a mildly built 6l80. There just isnt enough meat there. Some companys like RPM build some pretty stout ones but they cant compare to a built 6l80

yeah, honestly plenty of stock 6l80s holding way over 700hp... a 4l60 will break if you look at it wrong, got forbid throw any power at it. I think alot of folks get 4l80s and 4l60s confused... the 4l80 is a great transmission it just doesn't fit in most things without alot of massaging.
