Got my 08 Corvette out of storage a week ago. Been driving it somewhat. Yesterday the Air Bag Light came on in the dash. It blinked a few times and went out. This morning it came on again went out for a while and came on again. The manual of course says to take it to the dealer because the air bag may not work OR IT MAY DEPLOY ON IT'S OWN!! Just great!! I haven't tried to shut off the Passenger side to see if it makes any difference but will do that. Anyone else have this problem?
Very difficult to tell you what’s wrong without a minimum of putting a scan tool on the car to see what SRS DTC’s may be present…The SRS system operates on very low resistance wiring so any loose or slightly corroded terminals can illuminate the light…there is a “campaign” on 2005-2013 Corvettes concerning loose connections under the driver or passenger seats…if you’re mechanically inclined you can look there…a dealership would be the last place I’d take the car so that decision is yours…good luck !!
There is a known and common problem with the big yellow connectors under the seats, most often with the one under the driver’s seat. You should be able to access the connector from behind the seat if you raise the seat as high as it will go, then forward as far as it will go. Unplug the two halves of the connector, spray some contact cleaner on the pins and slots, and then sparingly apply some dielectric grease. Put the connector back together and zip tie it closed (important). This will prevent a reoccurrence. The connector should have a clip to fasten it onto a bar under the seat, so clip it back and zip tie it to the bar if you can. Solved the problem for me and others with about 15 minutes of easy effort.
EDIT: if you let the dealer perform the TSB they will unnecessarily butcher your car by cutting out the connector and splicing the wires together. Makes it more difficult to remove the seat because then you’d have to cut the wires and splice them back together again.

Had the same problem. Before you do anything, just lubricate, with light oil, the bar where the connector slides. Don't remove the seat, just bring it al the way forward and feel your way around. It worked for me, good luck.
FatsWaller, I unplugged the connector under the seat, sprayed contact cleaner on the terminals, put on some dielectric grease and tie wrapped the plug back together. Just went for a short ride and the light did not come on at all. Seems like that fixed it. Thank you very much.
