I am in the market to order the Front Power Stop Brake Upgrade for my Base C6 …. As I was looking on rock auto I found it shows 2 different part numbers, one is High performance and other is Premium . Does anyone know the difference ? #KC144426 & #KC1444
Thanks for your help in advance
Not a clue, since power stop does not post any information on their brake pads, such as working heat ranges, or coefficient or frictions either.
Note, chart is skewed, and there is a new one that is more in line, but this at least gives you an idea of what everyone is looking for when it comes selecting brake pads.

Z26 comes with rubberized backing shims (purportedly quieter), Z23 do not.
I use these as my street (only!) pads on several vehicles now and they are quiet and entirely dust free.
Note...these are great for street, but are not trackworthy.
Last question, is anyone running this Z06 replacement /Replica kit? I can’t seem to find a good set of Z06 calipers in my area and these seem like a good deal for the price… comes with everything but SS brake lines. I am curious on trying these on a Base C6 and see how it holds at my first Streets of willow event . Thanks for any input on this brand of calipers
no idea on these. it would be quite something if they had Z06 PBR calipersfor that price...or knockoffs? unless PBR still makes them?
Let us know what you get in the kit
Those are reman C6 GS/Z06 calipers with red powder coat and powerstop logos. The Z23 pads and the Z26 pads have the same material (carbon fiber ceramic) the Z26 pads have a stainless shim to allow you to run more heat in the pads at the expense of some more noise, the Z23 pads have rubberized steel backing plates that run quiet - I use Z23`s on everything and have always had good life and no noise and very low dust from them
