So right now I’m running br285 heads on my ls7 that have PSI 1513 springs and also running a cam with .662 lift now my question is should I go with a roller rocker or will a stick rocker with a trunnion upgrade be okay
Stock rockers won't last at that kind of lift, especially if the camshaft has aggressive ramp rates. Upgraded trunnions buy you some time at more moderate lift numbers. Not so much with the lift you're talking about. Yella Terras or some other shaft mount would be a better choice.
Edit.....upon further review....I missed the LS7 part. My experience is with LS2's and 3's. The LS7 1.8 stock rockers may be better with higher lift.
