I put the top down with no problem. When I tried to raise it, it got half way up and stopped. I hear a humming in the motor. I was advised to tighten the straps on the top and it did not work . Has anyone an idea as to how to fix it??
This part is not mine . But it is for sale on the forum very reasonably priced especially for a discontinued part brand new AC/DELCO
I also have a Convertible with a power top and try to buy parts just in case it lets go but that theory has gotten CRAZY over the years with multiple cars and I’m not going to buy which I hope I don’t regret later although you can always just operate it like a manual roof if you use the Allen wrench and spin the pump flow if you read your shop manual it will show you how .
