I used to rebuild single piston calipers. I'd either blow the piston out with compressed air or leave one side intact and pump the piston out. I'm curious as to how to rebuild a multi piston caliper such as the ones on a Z06 or 427. Is a special tool needed to hold the pistons in so they can be removed one at at time or will compressed air pop them all out at the same time.
Air pop method will work to get the pistons out, or at least most of the way out, to be pulled the last of the way.
As for little trick, stick a piece of wood between the pistons if only some are moving out/some are stuck in, to make all of them come at least most of the way out, before you start to pop any of the pistons out the final way.
