Default Launch Reader Results - Need Help

2006 C6 Base model, LS2 engine. Rough idle, fan not turning on, coolant smell from right rear side of engine near battery area, multiple items on the Launch X431. I'm still trying to salvage the vette and here is the current situation. Previously replaced the ECM and ran some Sea Foam through the gas tank as the gas was sitting in it for 8 months. New gas in tank and replaced all spark plugs, wires and coils. I am no means an expert at getting the car fixed and am doing the best I can reading the service manuals, researching the web & the help of a mobile mechanic. In this installment I'd like to address the first two of seven Launch X431 items. What do I need to do for the EVAP and Fuel pump readings? Thanks for all the help - Aaron P.S. I am in the Montgomery, Alabama area and if anyone is nearby and wants to come on over let me know.

I also have a Launch but the X431 Pro3S+ model and I don't know what screen you are looking at...what trouble codes do you have ??...unless your Launch has bidirectional capability it will be hard to diagnose your issue...you can check the vent solenoid for a short to ground by removing the connector and taking a 12 volt test light connected to B+ and touching the white wire terminal...if the test light illuminates you have a short to ground...that control wire is grounded by the ECM to activate the vent solenoid...to test for an open you need the bidirectional scan tool... there are 2 diagnostic Techs I can recommend and Jake Barnes is sharp but 2 1/2 hours away...he has a great YouTube channel... there can be MANY reasons why your car is running rough but unfortunately we can't diagnose it for you over the Internet !!...you will need to read and interpret scan data.

I appreciate the information. I do not know what value should be displayed on the results of the scan hence posting here. Unfortunately, I'm not financially secure to get the car to a technician.

You are in the wrong menu it looks like…look for the trouble codes menu…I don’t know what model you own.

It is the Launch x431 Millennium HD ProA. Unfortunately, it is not bi-directional. I'll try and find someone with a bi-directional scanner that understands the read out i.e. Not complete, Short GND/Open, and displayed numerical values. I know there is only so much assistance over the internet. Everyone here is GREAT!!! sharing the knowledge and assistance to get her running again.
