Default Front suspension squeek 2008 base

Suddenly developed an annoying squeak from the front suspension. Appears to be coming from the front struts.
With the car off and parked if I rock it it is very obvious.
Before I dig into it I wanted to check if anyone else has had a similar issue so I would know what to look for.

Unbolt the front sway bar and see if the noise is still there.Easy and free place to start.

check the sway bars, if they have slid to one side they can hit the control arms. Also verify the lower camber bolts are torque. If they are loose, the metal sleeve can rotate and cause a popping/creaking noise. The spring adjusters can also make noise sliding against the LCA. The spring arm is longer than the LCA, so it slides in/out as it moves up and down. A little silicone can help.

Do you mean remove it or just unbolt by the bushings.

New spring adjusters are on order. Noticed that the adjusters on the car have the rubber wore off.
