Hello All,
I purchased a used BCM for my 2007 C6 Corvette base model with Z51 package, and I am in need of having it programmed to my car. I have been having issues with my original BCM, and bought a replacement BCM to hopefully clear things up. I got the usual DIC warnings, gauges going to zero and back, radio turning off and on, doors not opening, etc. If anyone is in the South Florida area, and could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
[QUOTE=C5 Diag;1608167819]You can call this place and if they can’t do it they probably know someone who can…hope you guessed right about your BCM.
Thanks for the lead, I hope I guessed right about the BCM as well. I appreciate it. I'll give them a call, and hopefully get my baby back on the road asap.

Did you scan the car for any codes or you just winged it and hope it’s the BCM ??
Hi. Yes, I scanned the car for codes, and it showed there were canbus communication errors to the door, instrument cluster, radio, etc modules. Also, Class 2 data link malfunction, Class 2 data link high, U1064, U1164, U1017, U1128, etc error codes.
OK, well what makes you think with all those communication codes it a bad BCM ??…the modules you mentioned are all on the Class 2 Data Network which is a single wire communication network…what kind of symptoms were you seeing ??…have you installed something new like an aftermarket radio when all this was happening ??…do you have a DVOM and know how to use it ??…when a module on the serial data bus is communicating you’ll see 7 volts and when idle or not communicating (recessive) you’ll see 0 volts…with a DVOM you won’t see this 0-7 volt signal but instead a fluctuating 0.2 to 0.4 volt signal with the multimeter…below is a good data bus signal on my 08 which is the green waveform (0-7 volts) and the high speed CAN which is the bottom waveform.
Splice block 206 (which the wire from the BCM goes to first), located to the left of the bose amp in the passenger foot well and it can be seen at the white/green glowing device on the top left of the below photo that is clipped in place.
Splice block for 208 (wire jump from splice block 206 to 208) is located on the fire wall behind the dash gauge cluster, to the left of the steering column
